Challenge: Design a Tri-Generation System for your University Campus
The Contest will challenge university-level students to plan and design an innovative combined heat, hydrogen, and power (CHHP) system for their own university campus. As a part of their entry, teams will develop a feedstock analysis, technical design, address safety and code compliance, identify end-uses on campus, conduct an economic and environmental analysis, and develop business, marketing, and public education plans for their systems.
Registration will end November 1st, 2011. Teams can register by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the names of the team members and their faculty advisor. The Rules and Guidelines are publically available at: www.hydrogencontest.org.
The winning teams will receive a paid trip to the 2012 Word Hydrogen Energy Conference (WHEC 2012) in Toronto, Canada to present their entries to industry attendees, have their winning entry published in the IAHE International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, and the chance for an internship opportunity with industry sponsors.
