LATHAM, NY - Schmeiser, Olsen & Watts LLP, an intellectual property law firm, is proud to announce that as of February 2009, Autondria S. Minor was made a partner of the firm. Ms. Minor received her undergraduate degree in Biology from University of Houston in 1998. She attended law school at Albany Law School of Union University, receiving her Juris Doctor in May 2004. While attending law school, Ms. Minor worked as a faculty research assistant, researching citations in articles concerning the First Amendment. Additionally she worked as a legal entrepreneurial student assistant, conducting research regarding intellectual property law policies of New York colleges and universities. She has lectured to small businesses regarding intellectual property rights. In the fall of 2002, Ms. Minor began working as a law clerk at Schmeiser, Olsen & Watts. In the fall of 2004, after graduating from law school, she joined the firm as an associate. Ms. Minor has been an active participant in the People to People Ambassador Program traveling as part of an intellectual property law delegation to China in 2006. She returned to Asia as part of the 2008 Delegation to Vietnam and Cambodia.
Ms. Minor is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Albany County Bar Association, as well as the American Intellectual Property Law Association. She has served as the trustee for the American Intellectual Property Law Education Foundation.
