The Tech Valley Energy Forum is scheduled for Feb. 20.
The event is organized by the state University at Albany's Energy and Environmental Technology Applications Center and will be held at the Albany NanoTech complex.
The forum features Catherine Hill and Kelly Bennett. Hill is a lawyer with the Albany, N.Y., law firm Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP. Her specialty includes alternative energy. She previously worked for Mechanical Technology Inc. (Nasdaq: MKTY) and its subsidiary, MTI MicroFuel Cells Inc., a developer of fuel cells for handheld devices.
Bennett is the national policy director at Sterling Planet, a Santa Clara, Calif. company that provides solar, wind and other clean, renewable energy through direct sales and electric utility partnerships.
The event is scheduled to run from 4-6 p.m.
