Pradeep Haldar, a professor at at the University at Albany's College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering, will be speaking about energy and nanotechnology April 18 at a roundtable luncheon in downtown Albany.
Haldar is the founder and head of the college's nanoengineering constellation and director of its Energy and Environmental Technology Applications Center. He is also national chairman of the Clean Energy Alliance, which is part of the U.S. Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory.
The luncheon, which is being held at the Old Federal Building at the foot of State Street, is being sponsored by Einhorn Yaffee Prescott Architecture and Engineering. The luncheon costs $12, and reservations must be made by calling 431-1440.
