Einhorn Yaffee Prescott Architecture & Engineeringannounced Thursday it has created a new services group that will focus on consulting services to building and facilities operators, owners and designers.
Headquartered in Albany, N.Y., EYP said it has 30 years experience helping clients design energy-efficient facilities and save money on energy costs. The services include energy modeling and audits, commissioning, energy master planning, LEED and sustainable design consulting and alternative energy source solutions.
EYP has more than 70 LEED Accredited Professionals and Certified Energy Managers.
"Over the years, we've shown businesses and institutions how to save millions of dollars in energy costs," said EYP CEO and President Tom Birdsey. "With today's rising energy costs, renewable energy advancements and growing environmental concerns, the time is right to refocus and expand our expertise and deliver proven and innovative solutions to our clients."
Its clients have included the New York State Energy Research Development Authority, U.S. Coast Guard, New York Power Authority, U.S. Department of State, National Park Service, U.S. Department of Navy, numerous colleges and universities and others in the industrial, institutional, commercial, government and health care sectors.
The firm also has offices in New York City, Washington, D.C., Boston and Orlando.
