Development in the fuel-cell industry was the topic of a workshop today at Rochester Institute of Technology's Center for Integrated Manufacturing Studies.
The event included representatives from industry, including General Motors Corp. and Delphi Corp., government and academia seeking to advance research and commercialization in the fuel-cell industry. Workshops and a tour of CIMS also were scheduled.
The workshop was sponsored by New Energy New York's New York Fuel Cell Network. Speakers included Pradeep Haldar, executive director of New Energy New York; GM's Andrew Bosco, who also serves as chairman of the Fuel Cell Network; and CIMS director Nabil Nasr.
