Energy Symposium To Be Held At Albany Nanocollege Next Summer

New Energy New York, a consortium of New York entities focused on alternative energy has expanded its second annual symposium to two days.
The New Energy Symposium, which begins July 30, will be held at the state University at Albany's Collegeof Nanoscale Scienceand Engineering.
This year the event will also feature a hydrogen expo which will showcase various technologies.
"There is no doubt that the national interest in developing and commercializing alternative energy technologies is greater than ever," said Pradeep Haldar, executive director of New Energy New York and director of the nanocollege's Energy and Environmental Technology Applications Center.
Last year's symposium drew 200 executives.
New Energy New York was created in 2002 by Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.).
