The Office of the Governor, together with The New York State Department of Labor, CNSE and its corporate partners hosted a Nano Job Fair to recruit candidates for more than 300 current and future openings at the CNSE/SUNYIT Computer Chip Commercialization Center (QUAD-C) in Utica, NY.

significant outreach to attract qualified women, veterans and minority
candidates to apply for opportunities in both high-tech and traditional
The Nano Utica Job Fair showcased opportunities in a
variety of areas, including engineering; facility and business
operational support; and technical
positions that range from entry to senior level.
Annual salaries range from $35,000 to over $100,000 for the positions, which are funded by the Research Foundation for SUNY and QUAD-C tenant companies, and include exceptional benefits.
Second Job Fair Now Being Planned to Accommodate Additional Applicants
As a testament to the success of Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Nano Utica initiative, there was an overwhelming response to the Nano Utica Job Fair scheduled for Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the Utica site of the newly merged SUNYIT/ SUNY College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE), with more than 1,500 pre-registrations. In order to give each applicant the appropriate time to learn about the world-class career opportunities available, registration closed early. Due to the significant interest in career opportunities at Nano Utica, a second job fair will be scheduled in the coming months.
