Governor Cuomo Announces NY-PEMC
Governor Andrew Cuomo was at the GE Global Research Center in Niskayuna on Tuesday, July 15 to announce the creation of the New York Power Electronics Manufacturing Consortium (NY-PEMC). The consortium, which will be led by General Electric and managed through the newly merged SUNY College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE) / SUNY Institute of Technology (SUNYIT), will invest over $500 million and create thousands of high-paying jobs in New York State over the next five years, including 500 jobs in the Capital Region.
