ALBANY — A high-tech imaging company will add between 30 and 50 jobs at the State University of New York’s nanocollege facility in Ontario County.
Dynamax Imaging will begin hiring immediately for the new jobs, which will be located at the Smart System Technology & Commercialization Center in Canandaigua, the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering is set to formally announce Tuesday.
“These are all new jobs,” said Paul Tolley, the nanocollege’s vice president of disruptive technologies and director of the Canandaigua facility. “These are 30 to 50 new, high-tech jobs -- engineering, tech level, advanced operation-level manufacturing jobs.”
Some of the jobs will be transferred from Dynamax’s operations in Asia, Tolley said. Salary information wasn’t immediately available Monday evening, but Tolley said the pay levels would be “competitive.”
