Kaloyeros, CEO of the SUNY College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering on Fuller Road, has spent the past two decades trying to persuade much of the computer chip industry to move its research and development efforts to Albany, in the process attracting $17 billion in high-tech investment to the region and creating thousands of high-paying jobs.
