Position Title: G450C Portal and Compliance Coordinator - Albany
Employment is with the Research Foundation for SUNY, a private, nonprofit, educational corporation that administers sponsored program activity for the SUNY CNSE.

The SUNY College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (SUNY CNSE, http://www.sunycnse.com/) is seeking applicants for the position of G450C Portal and Compliance Coordinator to work on a sponsored program in its semiconductor development facilities.  This position is responsible for oversight and maintenance of the Global 450mm Consortium (G450C) internal document repository through Microsoft SharePoint and the content on the G450C’s public facing website.  This position will also assist the G450C program with the preparation of materials for use at conferences, meetings, and events.    

Description of Duties:


The G450C Portal Coordinator’s duties will include, but will not be limited to: Responsible for the upkeep and relevance of the content on the G450C public facing website; Being the point of contact for all questions and requests associated with the programs SharePoint portal environment; Establish and maintain workflows for the G450C Portal; Training staff and member companies on portal use; and, working with the member companies and Equipment Suppliers to ensure appropriate compliance and export controls are maintained.

The candidate will also have to establish and maintain protocols for uploading program materials throughout the portal environment; Work with the Programs IT organization to oversee portal access and user accounts; and Monitor the G450C Administration web analytics and reporting. Conduct regular meeting with G450C General Manager, CNSE Marketing, and IT to maintain content relevancy in the G450C’s goals.

This position will also assist program participants with drafting and preparing materials for use at conference, meetings and events.  Other reasonable duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in technology, public communications, or related field from a college or university accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization OR equivalent educational and professional experience and training associated in a highly technical environment AND a minimum of three (3) years’ experience working with media relations/web design application.

The G450C Program is a multi-client, consortium environment, and the successful individual must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment is a must.  Candidate should also have working knowledge of the following:
  • SharePoint – 2007, 2010
  • Writing and Citation Styles – (EX: Chicago, MLA, APA)
  • Time Management, Delegation of Tasks
  • General Web Experience
  • Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
